What We Do

Birthed out of a desire to fill the gap in services for students with disabilities post-graduation, Grace upon Grace was born. Founded by Maria Sharrett in 2022, and supported by her incredible board.

Our Mission

The mission of Grace Upon Grace is to create a Christ-centered movement recognizing all of God's children as being fearfully and wonderfully made. The world will no longer see the disabilities, and will instead see “infinite” possibilities.  Grace Upon Grace will provide education, comfort, community partnerships, and post-secondary opportunities that will shape the future and bring hope to the families we support.

Testimonies

“We are overwhelmed with excitement and moved to tears by this! Thank you so much to Grace Upon Grace and all the contributing organizations for your incredible support. We shared the news with Maddox tonight, and he is absolutely thrilled!"

"Yesterday, Maddox attended driving school at AMP, thanks to your organization's generosity. He had an ABSOLUTE blast and handled the fast karts like a TRUE CHAMP. Just like a duck to water. We are waiting for the July racing schedule to be released to register for 3 races. I am including a photo to indicate that Maddox has shocked us with his racing ability! This picture is a reflection of what he was able to accomplish in one year, placing 3rd overall in one season. Thank you and your organization! ”

“I can't thank you enough for this entire experience. I truly feel it was one of the best days of Fiona's life. She could not stop smiling and said "best day" on the way home. I sent the photos and videos to all of her therapists and they were SO excited for her and so proud of her for getting up on that stage. Today she wore her Grace Upon Grace shirt to school with pride! The staff backstage was amazing. It is rare that I get to step away from Fiona and really see her shine. I was so happy to be able to sit in the audience and watch her walk out. She's a total pageant girl now!”

“By the time Carter was 7 years old, he had been diagnosed with Autism, Epilepsy, and a chromosomal deletion (16P11.2). The doctors and professionals left very little hope for a bright future for Tug; they said he would never a lot; never read, never speak, and never be independent. But. Our God had a bigger story for His sweet boy. He is a precious creation of our Father and exactly the reason Grace Upon Grace is so important; the world needs to know how amazing and capable our children are”
